Battery Identity is battery passport software for manufacturers and importers. It runs “powered by EU Product Identity” and is aimed at anyone who must provide a battery passport from 18 February 2027.

Idea & philosophy

According to the site, EV batteries, LMT batteries (for example e-bikes and e-scooters) and industrial batteries over 2 kWh are affected. The path to the passport is kept short: load the template, import data with validation, collect missing data via supplier link and publish the public passport page with a QR code.
